Lambton College International Education department launches new Live Chat feature

A new chat feature on will allow current and prospective students to interact with Lambton College’s International Education department in real-time from anywhere in the world.

The live chat feature was launched on the College’s domestic website earlier this fall in an effort to provide an additional channel for students to ask questions about Lambton College programs and services.

The new chat app will be monitored completely in-house by Lambton College’s International Education department, which means students are guaranteed to connect directly with a knowledgeable International Department staff member, not a third party service.

“We want to make sure that we can give interested applicants and current students from our other study locations outside of Sarnia all the information they’re looking for about Lambton College in a setting that is convenient for them,” says Chris Slade, Dean of International Education & Computer Studies at Lambton College. “Our new Live Chat feature is just another way for us to welcome and service students from around the world, and highlight all the great things our college has to offer.”

The new Live Chat feature is currently available on all Lambton College program pages.

Live Chat is just the latest in a series of new information sharing services that Lambton College’s Enrolment Team has been providing for students. Earlier this year, the College partnered with Career Coach (also referred to as Job Coach), a web-based research tool with the ability to provide prospective international students with relevant information on what they can expect when they enter their chosen job market following graduation. A feedback-based website ( was also launched in February to help international students learn more about co-op and employment opportunities in their field of study.
