Lambton College students to fill an OPP cruiser with canned goods prior to annual charity hockey match

SARNIA, March 20, 2018 – Students enrolled in Lambton College’s Police Foundations and Protection, Security & Investigation programs are seeking the community’s help to fill an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Cruiser with canned goods on Thursday, March 22.

The donation drive is part of an annual charity hockey game organized between the students and the OPP that will support the Lambton College Food Bank.

The cruiser will be on campus from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Lambton College and those who donate a canned good are invited to join the students for a fun skate at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The annual hockey showdown, will take place immediately following the Free Skate. Fans are welcome to attend.

The charity hockey game is organized annually as part of the College’s Criminal Justice Programs.
