Lambton College to Host First Return to Learn Session of the School Year

SARNIA, October 21, 2019 – Your future is waiting at Lambton College – and you might be able to enroll as early as January 2020.

On Wednesday, October 23, Lambton College will be hosting its first Return to Learn session of the school year. This drop-in style event is open to anyone who is considering a Lambton College program for January, May, or September 2020.

The event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and guests will have the opportunity to chat with representatives from a variety of campus services and consult with Enrolment Advisors about college programs, the application process, and any other topics related to attending Lambton College.

Some highlights of the event that might be of interest to attendees include:

  • Apply to Lambton College on-the-spot. Applications are now open for January, May, and September 2020 programs. The Enrolment team will be available to assist all guests with the ontariocolleges.ca application process during the event. As an added incentive, Lambton College will pay the $95 application fee for any students who apply during the event.
  • Learn more about the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and other forms of financial assistance that are available to incoming students.
  • Representatives from Lambton College’s Academic Upgrading department will be available to assist students who might be missing college prerequisites. Academic Upgrading is a free service that allows students to upgrade their academic skills in order to meet college program admission requirements.
  • Learn more about programs that offer January intake such as General Arts & Science - College Exploration, Liberal Studies, Police Foundations, Pre-Trades & Technology, Protection, Security & Investigation, and Welding Techniques.

For those who are unable to attend an appointment on campus, the Enrolment Team is also able to accommodate off-campus appointments, such as local coffee shops, or accept over-the-phone advising sessions.
