Fall 2021 Update: Lambton College Plans for Return to In-Class Learning in September

Lambton College is excited and ready to welcome more students back to campus in September.

At this time, our College remains confident and optimistic that a robust academic and student life experience will return to our campus for Fall 2021.

In alignment with public health guidelines, and as vaccination plans progress, we will continue to make safety our first priority as we increase student access to our campus, labs and other experiential learning opportunities.

As we move forward with our Fall Plan, it will allow for increased opportunities for in-person student activities including access to the Athletics & Fitness Complex and student events organized by the Student Administrative Council (SAC).

We take great pride in the tireless efforts of our College community, who delivered world-class programming and student services throughout the pandemic, in virtual, in-person, and innovative new formats.

We will continue to work very hard to ensure our new and returning students will be successful and supported in their studies while enjoying the best student experience possible under the limitations of COVID-19.

Our Commitment to Student Success

We are very pleased to announce that as we work towards our return to face-to-face learning, we will continue to provide our students with exceptional student services including:

  • Apply With Confidence: The opportunity to allow them to discover their program and if they don’t feel satisfied with their learning experience in the first 10 days, students can request a refund of their paid tuition, ancillary and program fees. A $300 non-refundable deposit for domestic students can also be deferred to the next intake. Refund eligibility for international students is outlined on our Refund & Withdrawal Process page.
  • Paid Research Opportunities: With over 300 paid student research opportunities available within Lambton College’s #1 provincially ranked Research & Innovation department, students will have access to world-class research laboratories outfitted with $12 Million in specialized research and development equipment and technologies.
  • Additional Learning Experiences: Students will receive free access to LinkedIn Learning and eBits Mini Courses, providing access to additional bite-size or in-depth learning experiences taught by real-world professionals.
  • Enhanced Student Supports: Increased access to both in-person and virtual student services with a focus on safety, mental health, and wellness supports including personal and career counselling, tutoring, guided meditations, virtual fitness classes, and a full-range of student life activities available on campus or online.
