Featuring Indigenous Student Panelists: Rina Okimawinew, Eagle Blackbird, Robyn Gray, Melissa Ellis, Zorion Nahdee & Moderator, Andrea Auger.
Special Remarks: Marie Short, Walpole Island First Nation Elder; Phyllis George, Indigenous Education Council Chair; Rob Kardas, Lambton College President & CEO.

12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. Film Screening & Discussion

Join Walpole Island filmmaker Derek Sands for a screening and group discussion of his award-winning short film All Sacred Things (2023), which focuses on a group of Indigenous college students and their journey of reconnecting to their culture, inevitably leading them to experience the once almost extinct Ojibway Spirit Horses.
