About OOWA
The Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association (OOWA) is a provincial not-for-profit
association dedicated to promoting the benefit and value of onsite and
decentralized wastewater management through education, improved standards of
practice, and advocacy for sound policies. We support our network of
knowledgeable professionals recognized as the foremost source of sustainable
onsite and decentralized wastewater management expertise.
Eligible Programs
Eligibility Criteria
The Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association (OOWA), offers two annual scholarships, one each available for:
- College students: $2000
- University students: $3000
- The deadline to apply is February 06, 2026. Applicants must be OOWA members to apply; students can become members for for free here.
Application Details
How to Apply
Please submit as a single PDF package including the following:
- Letter of interest in the scholarship, including relevant studies and/or experience
- Transcript of related program grades (can be an unofficial transcript)
- Two letters of reference with signatures
- Proof of OOWA membership (and students can become members for free)
Submissions must be in a PDF electronic file format and emailed to executivedirector@oowa.org, attention “OOWA Scholarship Program”. Applications are due on Friday, February 06, 2026, and we graciously accept and appreciate early submissions.
