How do you feel that your training at Lambton College has prepared you for your success?
I believe that the in-class courses at Lambton College provided me with the necessary knowledge for various aspects of the industries. The courses also provided me knowledge of safe practices within the workforce. The hands-on training labs prepared me for the outside workforce and the abundance of job opportunities. The relationships that Lambton College has with the community, specifically the companies involved with the CPET program, have allowed me to network with these same companies and eventually find employment.
What advice would you give to somebody who is considering taking the same course at Lambton College?
Being a mature student, the advice that I would give would be to never give up. This program is for any age, regardless of whether you are a high school student or mature applicant. At times, the courses were difficult but with dedication, the outcome was very rewarding. It is never too late to start a new career and I was lucky enough to find my dream job
