Program Information

The Adult Education Board of Governor's certificate will allow students to formulate, plan, write, organize and deliver any form of instruction or facilitation of any subject matter whether it be knowledge -based, skills-based or just the passion and appreciation of learning.

Whether in a formal classroom setting, facilitating seminars, training employees or general interest program instruction, students will be well equipped to meet the needs of adult learners.

The online curriculum will begin by exploring the nature of adult learners, their learning styles and their learning needs and characteristics. Then, critical aspects in course delivery and overall teacher effectiveness are analyzed. Online courses are to be taken in sequential order to build on foundational adult learning concepts.
