What are Labs?

Labs are a key component of science, technology, and engineering programs at Lambton College. On campus, students have access to modern tools, instruments, and simulation software that reflect today’s industry standards. Laboratory work involves self-directed, hands-on application of course concepts in a controlled setting, which may be included as part of a course or offered separately.

Students gain valuable skills by:

  • Working with equipment similar to what professionals use
  • Practicing skills in a safe, controlled environment
  • Using simulation software to test ideas and explore concepts

This hands-on approach helps students apply classroom learning, explore ideas independently, and build confidence with industry-level technology.
