What is Experiential Learning?
At our college, experiential learning is at the heart of preparing students for meaningful careers and engaged citizenship. This hands-on approach to education empowers students to apply classroom theories in real-world settings—through co-operative education, internships, service learning, research projects, and global experiences.
By integrating academic study with practical application, as well as offering experiences outside the classroom, students gain critical skills, deepen their understanding, and build the confidence needed to thrive in today’s dynamic world.

Students Gain Real-World Experience Working with Tigers, Red Wings
As part of their Fundraising and Sport Sponsorship course, students enrolled in the College's Sports & Recreation Management program were recently given the opportunity to complete Fundamental Sales Training with both the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings organizations.
