Golfers, gamers, and anyone looking for a unique outing in Sarnia-Lambton now have a new option courtesy of Lambton College’s Student Administrative Council (SAC). SAC’s Lions Den Entertainment Facility features a pair of brand-new HD Golf & SportSuite Simulators and a 10-person PlayStation Arena, all available to the public for bookings.
The HD Golf & SportSuite Simulators provide golfers with an opportunity to play on the world’s most iconic courses through state-of-the-art virtual technology. The simulators also feature a wide array of high-tech athletic endeavours in sports like hockey, basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. The simulators offer multi-player functionality and have customizable settings so they can be enjoyed by people of all skill levels.
While the simulators bring the thrill of the world’s top golf courses and sports to campus, the Lions Den’s PlayStation Arena, complete with comfortable gaming chairs, delivers the excitement of next-level gaming for groups of up to ten players at a time.
“In talking to our students about what they wanted in this space, we heard a lot about the opportunities we could provide for everyone in our community,” said James Grant, Manager, Athletics & Student Life. “Students love it in the Lions Den, and we’re excited to open the doors to Sarnia-Lambton. Whether you want to hit the links, host a birthday party or team-building night, or just get together with friends, the Lions Den is here to host you.”
Food service is available to patrons through the Lions Den Pub & Grill, a licensed SAC-run restaurant with a menu of pub classics and a wide variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
