SARNIA, March 24, 2026 – Future students and their families are invited to experience Lambton College firsthand at its Spring Open House on Saturday, March 28, where classrooms, labs, and student spaces will come to life through interactive tours, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
Running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lambton’s Main Campus, with shuttle service to the Fire School in Corunna, Open House offers a full look at what it means to learn, live, and belong at Lambton College. Prospective students can meet their future professors at program showcases, explore academic options and career pathways, and connect directly with staff and current students at the Student Services Fair, all while getting a feel for the campus environment.
“We always hear from Open House guests that there’s something special about experiencing our campus in person,” said Rob Kardas, President & CEO, Lambton College. “This event gives future Lions the chance to get a real sense of what life at Lambton is all about.”
Students and families will have the opportunity to experience campus through guided tours at both Main Campus and the Fire School. Information sessions will be offered on financial aid and accessibility and learning supports, helping students understand the resources available to them as they transition to college.
To help remove barriers to post-secondary education, Lambton College will cover the $150 application fee for prospective students who apply to a full-time, non-waitlisted program during the event. Members of the Enrolment team will be available to provide one-on-one support, and all registered attendees will be entered into a draw for free tuition. Future Lambton students can show their confirmation to the Enrolment team to receive a welcome gift. A complimentary pizza lunch will also be on offer.
Student life at Lambton College will be on full display throughout the day. The Lion’s Den Pub will be open, with representatives from the Student Administrative Council available to share information about clubs, events, and campus involvement. Visitors are welcome to try out the Den’s golf and multisport simulators free of charge.
Open House guests will also see the future of Lambton College taking shape. Construction continues on the new Student Residence, scheduled to open for fall 2027, while the Indigenous Outdoor Gathering Space is approaching substantial completion.
